We run on an NT 4 domain at our site. Our e-mail system is hosted by
corporate on an Exchange 2000/Win2K AD setup. So we log into our network
with local domain credentials, and then into Outlook/Exchange with an
account on the AD system.
In Outlook 2002, the login box has a place for username, password, and
domain. In Outlook 2003, the domain and username are combined in one box.
When a user starts Outlook 2003, it is remembering the account name from AD,
but is filling in the local domain like this: "localdomain\ADaccountname"
and we're having to manually replace "localdomain" with "corpdomain" for the
user to be able to log in.
Is there any way to force Outlook to remember the coporate domain name? All
the user should have to enter is his/her password.
