Outlook 2003 drap from IMAP to Deleted Items fails

Hi,
I have an IMAP account open in Outlook 2003. When I delete an item, I drag
it to the .pst Deleted Items folder, and then purge. In Outlook XP this
worked fine. However Outlook 2003 randomly decides not to copy the message
into the Deleted Items folder. Yet another example of buggy Outlook
programming?

While I'm at it, the options for using IMAP in Outlook are crude at best,
anyone know of a good groupware client that has good IMAP features, and still
has the groupware functionality of Outlook?

Why do you drag to the deleted items rather than just hitting "Del"? Do
you get an error message when an item doesn't move to Deleted Items?
