Strange problem after upgrading to Office 2003 from Office 2000. When I
receive e-mails in Outlook on start-up, the sound notice I used to receive
in Outlook 2000 doesn't play. All other sounds work fine. I've checked all
the appropriate boxes in the Outlook program and in Windows XP and can't
find a problem. The strange part of the problem is that if I'm online long
enough and receive an e-mail, the notification sound set in the windows
sound scheme does play. Does anyone know why this is happening and if there
is a fix? Also, can't find anything regarding this problem on the Microsoft
Office support site. Thanks in advance for any help.
