Outlook 2003: error 0x80042109

I cannot send emails. I have tried everything posted in previous discussions
plus tried suggestion in the "how-to" area. Nothing is working. On Monday
3/12 my email worked fine. On Tues 3/13 it did not. I have Microsoft
automatica updates running. Did something get updated on Monday night that
may have messed up Outlook?

What have you tried? Did you try and disable you AV automatic email scanning. Both outgoing and incoming. Did you also check your Anti Spam if it is blocking it?
