Outlook 2003 error 1706

I downloaded a trial version of Microsoft Office 2007. A couple of days
later decided not to purchase, so did a system restore to go back to my old
version of 2003.
All of the Office programs work fine except Outlook 2003.
I have a continuous 1706 error popping up when I open, sent/receive and flag
emails.
At first then it tries to download Outlook, then the 1706 error pops up.

Any suggestions, Thanks

My suggestion would have been to use the trial correctly. To try a new
version of Outlook, you must uninstall the old version first. That's also
true when reverting. A system restore point won't work correctly. Create a
new mail profile and see if that corrects the problem.
