Outlook 2003 Error Message connected to Exchange 2003

I have an OutLook 2003 client connected to an Exchange 2003 SP1 server. When
Outlook is running I will get the following message:

Outlook is trying to retrieve data from Microsoft Exchange server XXXxXX

Why to continue to get this message and what king of problem to I have when
this occurs? How do I track down the problem to be fixed?

I checked my network connections they are all working fine.

Please help

Could be many things -
Shared hub, or switch?
What network speed? Using autosense, or locked down at a specific
speed/duplex setting?
How busy is your server?

I'd enable cached mode so you don't get interrupted with stuff like this.
