Outlook 2003, exchange server, win2003sbs

when I try to sync my Palm Pilot to Outlook, everything works fine sync'ing contacts, memos, calenders. BUT when it tries to sync the mail it generates the following message in the hotsync log,,,

Could not read the next message from the Desktop Mail System's Inbox.
- Failed while trying to retrieve the next message from the Desktop Mail System.

Anyone have any idea??
