I though if you selected "File > Exit", rather than just click the red cross,
the whole of Outlook 2003 exited, including the Cached version running in the
Systray, on many occassions I have selected File > Exit and yet the systray
icon is still present and connecting to the server.
The reason for this request is because I use a Smartphone mobile client too
and when I'm out of the office I don't want Outlook 2003 retrieving my
messages from Exchange - as I cannot see them on the smartphone (I know I
could leave my messages on the Server but this is not acceptable due to file
size and IT requirements).
Can anybody help?
