Outlook 2003 Hangs in Vista Business

Outlook 2003, Vista Business new Sony laptop. Outlook hangs up or takes long
time to send mail. Tools>options gives the same behaviour. When closed the
process may still be seen in task manager and an icon in the tray.

Automatic updates are on so I assume Outlook and Vista are fully patched.
I have removed virus scanning software etc.

I have the same problem. Got 2002 on Vista and suddenly, all colleauges at
the company had problem with outlook hanging / shutting down and in
combination with that it forgets the passwords. Extremely annoying. Need a
solution.

If you had the "same" problem, you would be using Outlook 2003 in Vista, not
2002.

Please do not hijack threads - it causes confusion if the OP needs to
