Outlook 2003 Hangs when try to close

I tried installing Office 2003 Pro on an XP Pro machine 3 times.
each time Outlook has trouble closeing. In order to shut it down I have to
go to the Task Manager/Processes.
This machine is simular specs and software that we have bought but is the
only one with this problem.

How can I fix this?

Most always this is related to either a synchronisation product running
or (more usually) an Anti-Virus client. McAfee seems to be the worst
culprit. Try deactivating any 'on-access' scanning feature of your AV
client. Failing that, disable any add-ins that may be running from
Outlook. Then try running Detect & Repair.

I've had similar issues, but usually when trying to install early
versions of Outlook onto XP, not later ones
