Outlook 2003 How do I schedule email autosend receive every 15min

My outlook is downloading emails even when the program is closed. In order
to stop this, i have changed it to all manual settings for send receive.
However, I know there is a way to set email send receive so that it will
automatically look for emails every 15 or 30 minutes.
Can someone tell me how to do this?

Outlook cannot check for emails when it is closed. Something on your machine
prevents Outlook from closing completely. To troubleshoot see;

You can change your send/receive interval in;
Tools-> Options-> tab Mail Setup-> button Send/Receive...
