Outlook 2003 http email accounts - Shooter71

When setting up email to be downloaded from a http account, like MSN, is
there any way to have the email stored on the computer and not be affected
when Outlook 2003 resyncs with MSN like a standard Pop3 account. In
particular, when I deleted emails from my http account, they not there the
next day, etc as they are permanently deleted. The pop3 accounts keeps the
emails in the deleted folder until I permantly clean them out.

I do not have any setting to "Remove all deleted emails at exit" or etc.
that would be doing this, but I assume it has something to do with the
re-synch in MSN which does not allow you to keep emails in the deleted folder
as they are cleared each day.

Thanks

No, this is how an HTTP account works; it's a direct representation of your
on-line mailbox. If you want to remove a message on-line but want to keep it
off-line you'll manually need to move the file to a local pst-file instead
of deleting it on-line.
