Outlook 2003 installed with Win Vista does not start

For a while, outlook would review all files before starting, today it jus
does not start. I get the following message:

Microsoft Office Outlook cannot be started. The Outlook window cannot be
openned. This group of files cannot be oppened. The server is not available.
If the problem continues, ger in touch with the system administrator.

Anyone with experience on this?
should I reinstall the program from the original disc?
