Outlook 2003 junk email filter

I

Ian Burley

I am using this to good effect when messags are first received but if I use
rules to direct emails from different accounts to different folders, the
filter no longer works.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Ian

Hmm, after having posted basically the same question twice now, with no
response, I guess there is no solution?

Ian,

I have the same problem and have found no solution. Its pretty silly that
at this point, but MS will prob take 4-8 months to fix this problem, which
from a coders standpoint, is probably ridiculously trivial.

Real shame as the junk mail filter itself works very well - certainly much
better than a custom rules filter I concocted myself in Outlook XP.

Hi

Same problem here..

Email is downloaded; Junk e-mail is placed by the filter in the Junk folder and then my rules move the mail (incl. the mail in the Junk folder) to different folders (based on account), so I can keep my emails from the various accounts separeted. Shouldn't be that hard to include an 'Ignore folder' option in the rules panel

Help!
