Outlook 2003 locks up

I have tried almost everything on this one. I have a
client that has Outlook 03 and every time she wants to
accept an meeting notice it locks up Outlook. As in,
Outlook freezes and you have to click the X in the upper
right to close because its not responding. Any ideas?

Does this also happen when she tries it in safe mode? I've seen sync
software for PDA/Phone causing this as well.

I haven't tried it in safe mode, she doesn't have
anything hooked to her pc such as a palm or what have you.

tried safe mode and it still freezes when accepting
meetings.
