Outlook 2003: Make some Journal entries read-only

I make lots of notes on my journal entries. Often, I'll open up past
entries again to refer to the notes. It's all to easy to start the
timer, confuse past entries with today's entries. I often muss with
the Duration and Start Time fields of today's entries, since I often
forget to start/stop the right timers. I *don't* want to do that with
past entries before today, even though I open them to refer to the
notes. Is there a way to make selected Journal entries read-only?
