Hi,

I have a strange issue today with my outlook 2003. When i send an email to a
group of people, they are receiving multiple copies of it and my Outbox still
shows it as sending message. Due to this, same email is going over and over
again to my email receiver.

I searched Google and tried everything i.e. archiving my email box , disable
mcafee etc, but still the problem persist.

Please help

You say you "disabled" your antivirus, but did you completely uninstall it
and then reinstall it without the mail scanning feature? So AV programs
require that to really disable the mail integration.

Interesting...the same thing happened to me on 6/24 as well. I am using
Outlook 2003. I tried to send an email to a distribution list. I "stuck" in
the outbox and then sent about 10 copies to all recipients.

Yesterday I sent another email to the same distribution list and it did it
again.

As far as I know, it is not happening on other emails.

I have not changed anything in my Outlook or Norton AV in months. It just
started misbehaving. I have used this distribution list for months with no
problems.

Any ideas?

If you have NAV configured to update automatically, then it may have changed
without your knowledge, a common occurrence.
