I have noticed since installing Microsoft Office 2003
that when I have Outlook 2003 running, I am not able to
brouse my network (Windows 2003 Server OS). When I open
My Network Places, my machine hangs as "not responding."
If I simply close Outlook, then my machine works
normally. I have run "detect and repair," but that does
not help. My computer on which I am having these
problems is an IBM ThinkPad T30, 2.0GH P4, with 512M of
RAM, Windows XP Pro OS. I have also noticed that I am
not able to open certain shared folders (e.g., My
Documents) as quickly. Is this a problem with MS Office
2003 that will be fixed in a service pack?
