I run Outlook 2003 over WinXP Pro. The account is setup as
IMAP/SMTP. I just did a clean install and the deleting
function is quirky.
When I delete a message all it does is strikethrough and
grey it out. Also, the spam filter does the same thing,
but it adds a copy of the message to the Junk Email folder.
Both the deleting function and the spam filter leave a
copy in the inbox which is annoying.
What do I need to do so that the original message is moved
to the correct folders (Deleted Items and Junk E-mail)?
