Outlook 2003 Not Responding

Outlook keeps on freezing and Not Responding.
I have reinstalled Office 2003 twice but still no joy.
Help!

Same happen if you start Outlook in its safe mode ("outlook.exe /safe")?

What happens (while Outlook is not loaded) if you rename the .pst file
and make Outlook create a new one?
