Outlook 2003 / Notification

Hello ... I have used previous versions of Outlook and been notified when
emails arrive. I checked the Tools in 2003 but cannot find where I can tick
this option & cannot find such an option. My question: is there such an
option and where may I find same?

A response would be most appreciated.

Tools > Options > Preferences tab > Email Options button > Advanced E-mail
Options button. Middle of dialog is most likely what you are after.
