Outlook 2003 on top op Office 2007

The user is in a corp. with sufficient licenses.
Has Office 2007 completely installed on Vista Business.
Outlook 2007 is not communicating with his Palm (Trio-650), whereas Outlook
2003 worked perfectly.
User wants to work with Outlook 2003 only, but keep the rest of MS Office
functionning in 2007.

Issue 1: How to get Outlook 2003 and Office 2007 to work with all required
..dll files.

Issue 2: Will a .pst backup from 2007 import into 2003?

Workaround: Anyone familiar with why the Palm would work with 2003, but not
2007?

Fast update:

We had tried updating from the Palm site.

What finally worked was re-installing Office 2007.

When all else should work:
1) Reboot
2) Reinstall
3) Research

.....

My boss had the same issue. We found that this synching tool
works well. It's called Pocket Mirror. Got the link to this
from the Palm forum.
