No one will believe this. I have several sub folders under my inbox to
redirect my mail to different users. One subfolder periodically disappears.
No I did not delete. No auto or manual archive. It is not in the delete
folder in outlook or xp. No there is no plus signs on another folder. No it
is not in the computer I haved searched and looked in hidden folders as well.

What the heck is going on? The folder is named the same as my email.

I can't figure this on out. Any ideas, anybody?

What do you mean by redirect your email to different users? Are you
forwarding your mail to them but keeping a copy in the subfolder? Do they
have rights to the folder as a delegate?

Using outlook
Inbox,
Subfolders in inbox,
Rules redirect mail to sub folders
Using cable pop account
One of the subfolders randomly disappears
