I have a group computer set up in a conference room, running Office 2003.
Each user uses the same Windows login account, but separate e-mail
accounts/SMTP addresses. Logically, if multiple people use the same
computer, and each needs their own POP3 Internet mail account, they also need
separate *.pst files to store their e-mail.
So I have Outlook set up for five users, and I'm in the process of setting
up each user with his own *.pst file by going to "Tools | E-Mail Accounts."
Outlook allows the creation of each *.pst file, but will only allow the use
of one at a time. Essentially, if I change the location for new mail
delivery for one user, it changes them to the same *.pst file for ALL users.
So it seems that Outlook 2003 only allows new mail delivery to one *.pst
file, no matter how many POP3 Internet mail accounts are set up on the
computer. Anyone know a workaround for this error, or is it a design flaw?
Please send replies or direct communication to "[email protected]."
Thanks in advance for whatever help any of you can provide.
