Outlook 2003 or 2007 Resources

We want to start using the Resources feature in Outlook but want to know if
these can be setup and viewed only by a select audience. These resources
would only be used by our department (not the entire company). It would be
confusing and for anyone else (other than our group) to see these on the list.

Can this be done and if so, how?

As in a Public folder? Sure, you can set permissions and the "Hide from
Global Catalog" option for that.

Thanks I wasn't aware of this option. Can this permission setting work in
other folders other than public folder. I wasn't thinking about putting it
in the public folder, rather in the same area that we select contacts.

When you mail enable the Public Folder it will show in the Global Address
List.
