Outlook 2003 Pro

I have Office 2003 Pro installed on my laptop. Outlook will hang up on
occasion. When this happens Outlook is using 100% of the CPU. The only way to
recover is end Outlook and start it over again. The other Office applications
work just fine. I have all of the Service Packs and patches already
installed. I even uninstalled Office and re-installed it again. Is anyone
else experiencing this problem? What can be done to fix this problem?

I have experienced this or a similar problem:
It turns out, for me, that Outlook has popped up its "auto-archiving"
dialog, only I can't see it. If I minimize everything else, I can usually see
the dialog and click OK or cancel, then the problem goes away.

If this turns out to be the problem, and if you don't want to use
AutoArchive, you can turn it off. From the menu, choose Tools - Options -
Other tab, AutoArchive button.
