I've been having problems with Outlook 2003 for awhile, so I recently
reinstalled the entire Office 2003 suite from the original disk. It didn't
help.
Some of the features that I have turned on are not working (e.g., I don't
get any alert when new mail arrives, the original message is not included
when I reply to a message). Also, often, when I look at an HTML message in
the Reading Pane and then go to another message, when I come back to the
original one I was looking at, it has been converted to text, although I
didn't do anything to it. This also happens if I open an HTML message: when
viewed in Reading Pane, I can see the pictures; when I double click to open
the message, the pictures disappear.
I do understand about software gremlins, but it would be nice if I could
exorcise them. Any suggestions?
