I have a weird situation with Exchange 5.5 and Outlook 2003.
I have a failover server SERVERB.company.org and a live server
SERVERA.company.org. For some reason, a few different users
are having their profiles redirected to SERVERB.company.org (even though
that server is not a ture exchange site/org member and doesnt run
exchange services (until a failover occurs). For some reason, outlook
2002 and earlier do not have this problem -- inputting SERVERA in the
check names sequence stays the same; but in outlook 2003, it changes it
to SERVERB and attempts to connect.
i tried creating a .prf file and forcing the server name to SERVERA, but
it still fails.
any ideas ?
