Outlook 2003 RPC error (Exchange 2000)

Matt

I have installed OL2K3 to test against Exchange 2k on SBS
2k. When I try connect to a mailbox it says the exchange
server can't be found. I then installed OL2k and
configured exchange mailbox. All was ok.

I then installed OL2K3 as an upgrade. Now I am geeting an
error saying 'The rpc is configured incorretly'

I am not using RPC over HTTP. This is for local area use
only.

Anyone else have this problem or perhaps know of a fix?

I am also seeing this issue and as far as I can tell I am
not using RPC over HTTP.

Any help?

I will post this in Exchange 2000 General issues newsgroup

Check for the presence of these keys and add them if they
are missing:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Rpc\ClientProtocols]
"ncacn_np"="rpcrt4.dll"
"ncacn_ip_tcp"="rpcrt4.dll"
"ncadg_ip_udp"="rpcrt4.dll"
"ncacn_http"="rpcrt4.dll"
