Outlook 2003 rule problem under Vista

Richard

I have just transferred settings from my old XP machine to my new Vista one.
Both machines are running Office 2003.

I have a rule that moves emails sent to a specific address to a specific
folder. Under the new Vista PC the rule does not work.

I have tried recreating the rule from scratch but it will not work.

Can anyone help me get this rule working on the new PC?

Thanks,
Richard.

What happens if you try? Do you get an error message? Have you tried deleting and recreating the rule?

Thanks for coming back to me. I have just spent 90 m inutes on the phone to
MS support and it seems the rules are corrupted. deleted all using an
"outlook /rulesclean" command and have now recreated manually. I also had to
recreate the .pst folder and import emails and folders as the manually
created rules still did not work in the transferred .pst file.

I will never use the ms transfer to new machine utility again as it is
quicker to start from scratch!!!!
