Outlook 2003 Search e-mail question

I was troublshooting someone's Outlook 2003 where the person has an issue
when running a search through the Inbox and getting the results, the
"Forward" or "Reply" button does not work.

I am wondering if some enhanced menu is turned on as their search screen
displays "****" next to the e-mail. I believe it is to show how relevent the
e-mail is to the search that was just done. I was hoping to turn off the
feature and check if the "Forward" button works.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Which method of searching are you using? Sounds to me you are using a search
addin.

The person was running searches through the standard search box in Outlook.
I believe the search section reads "Look for:", "Search In" with the Inbox
entered and a "Find Now" button.

The person's search menu and general look though does look slightly
different to the other Outlook 2003 apps we have in the office. I will
research addins and see if anything matches to what is happening on this
users PC.

I can post a screen capture if you think that would be helpful.

That might be helpful indeed if you think it looks different than normal.
I'm curious about those ***** you are seeing as well :)
