We had in exch2000 created a public folder called-- Outlook Security
Settings with a template post in it, for a selected group of users to
apply settings to their outlook program, so that an accounting s/w
program can send email alerts. Now with exch2003 on w2k3 server, I can
not modify and save the template post! Every time I try to save it, I
get this error:
Microsoft Office Outlook: The access levels on this security setting
cannot be saved, probably because of an invalid password. This setting
is currently set as a default setting for all users. You should either
delete the setting or save it again, and type the correct password. You
do not have sufficient permission to perform this operation on this
object. See the folder contact or your system administrator.
Ask! Well I am the folder contact and have full rights. I'm also the
domain admin and exch admin with full rights to public folders and
mailboxes. Is there another setting somewhere? Is this setting a schema
issue? I have tried logon as administrator with Outlook profile and I
still can not save the template post.
Thanks!
