Outlook 2003 Send Large Amounts of data occassionally

Dabour

When I'm working from home with a one-way cable modem, I notice that Outlook
2003 starts sending out large amounts of data. It doesn't do this with any
general regularity and no I'm not sending a 4MB email. I'm attaching to an
Exchange server at work and working in the default cache mode. When this
happens, my home network comes to a grinding halt since the one-way cable
modem can't keep up. I know its outlook becasue once I put it into offline
mode, the transmits stop. What is it trying to do? I have no messages in my
outbox, etc.. It must be trying to do some sort of sync. It doesn't do this
all the time. On average I would say about once a week. It's doing it now and
so far has uploaded at least 15MB...

Thanks!

Is it uploading or downloading? It might be downloading offline address
books and if the company is large, the oab can be large.
