Outlook 2003 Send option does not work from other programs

I am having a problem sending email when trying to send from another
program. I can send email from Outlook by clicking on the paperclip but if
I go into Word or Excel and send as attachment it pops up the box and when I
click on Send nothing happens and it does not go. Have tried deleing the
normal.dot and doing repair and same thing.

Describe in complete and accurate detail what you mean.
Include how you have Outlook configured and whether it is running.
Never have I seen a paperclip that sends mail.

2003. It seems to be something to do with Itunes being open. Becuase when
I dont have Itunes open it works fine. Any ideas?????

The option to send the message pops up but whenever I click on Send nothing
happens and it doesnt send. The only option is to save it and then go to
mailbox and then send it from there. It seems that Itunes is either
messing with Outlook. Apple said they are aware but Outlook is the issue
and it is becuase Outlook uses non standard ports. I have the same issue
with Exchange or SMTP setup.

Further if I just compose from within outlook and then attach it works fine
but if I am in Word 2003 and do send as attachemtn it does not work. It
seems like almost a DDE Problem
