Outlook 2003 Sending Issue

N

Nigel Bruce

Why is it when I send an email (Outlook 2003 SP1) it sits's in my inbox and
refuses to budge until I click on ANY of my other folders in Outlook and
then it sends as normal?

I have checked my settings and all seems normal I am receiving emails
perfectly well, and I am not setup to work offline or use and OST.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Thanks

What sort of mail account(s) do you have?

We are runnig all email account off of Exchange Server 2003?

Do you know if the message is actually sent, even if it still appears to be
in the oubox? This sounds like a problem that people had in versions prior
to Outlook 2003 in which the message was sent but your view of the outbox
was never refreshed to show that. That problem should be fixed in Outlook
2003. Could you do a test to see if someone receives the message while
it's still in your outbox?
