Outlook 2003 shared calendar problem since SP1

M

Marc Frey

Since we installed SP1 for Office 2003 we are no longer able to open
anothers calendar (Exchange is 2003 SP1). Deinstalling Office 2003 and
reinstalling without SP1 works again. Anyone also having this problem?
Workarounds or solution to this?

Thanks, Marc

Works for me. What error do you get and what are the exact steps to
reproduce the problem. Also; what permissions are set on the Calendar you
are trying to open?

Thanks for your help - I try to translate because the computer I
actually sit in front is in german, however also users with english
versions have the problem.

I go to Calendar in Outlook 2003 and in the left pane (where the
folder list is) I click on "open shared calendar" or similar, choose
the name from the global adress list, click OK. Error Message: "This
Folder Group cannot be opened. At least one parameter value is not
valid." (translated from german error message). This happens to every
calendar I try to open. Permissions are correctly set, in my case
Level 2 to Standard (read, display folder, no edit and delete on
elements). It works on the computer nearby with the same credentials
but with Outlook 2003 WITHOUT SP1.

Cheers, Marc

I just tried it this way. Created a new mail profile and launched
this. Error remains the same. Other ideas??? I'm wondering if nobody
else is having this problem...
