Outlook 2003 standalone - can't open or create appointment in cale

I've "done something" can't work out what, that is preventing me from
creating new or opening/editing existing appointments. Can create additional
calendar and that works fine, but I need all the existing calendar
appointments - can't copy/move to new calendar. Help!
