Outlook 2003 task menu icon

I am having this problem with the icon in the task bar (bottom right of my
screen). When I start Outlook 2003 the icon shows up and works fine. But
when I close Outlook, sometimes that icon stays and never goes away unless I
open the task manager and forcefully stop Outlook.

Anybody know why this is happening? Thanks.

No answers, just that I'm experiencing the same symptom. WinXP SP2 & OL2003
ver 11.5608.5606.
