Outlook 2003 "Unable to open your default folders"

Having problems with connecting to the Exchange Server
after installing OL2003.

It worked fine with OL2000, then I just get this message:
"Unable to open your default folders. The Microsoft
Exchange Server computer is not available. Either there
are network problems or the Microsoft Exchange Server
computer is down for maintenance."

Neither of the two last possibilities are a fact.

Has anybody gotten into this problem?
