Outlook 2003 wants to rename attached .jpg files

Whenever I attempt to save an attached .jpg file in Outlook 2003 - in
"Windows Picture and Fax Viewer", the file name is changed to "New Image",
so I have to highlight it and type in the correct file name. How do I deal
with this "feature"?
