When adding a new folder in Outlook 2003, the view format always defaults to
auto preview. How can I turn this default off?

Is this an IMAP folder?

It should use the default view for that folder type - which for non-IMAP
mail folders is Messages. See
http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/grouping.htm for the method needed to
change the default view.

Thank you! Your suggestion was easy for a beginner like me. I also love the
website you recommended and will keep it as a favorite. It provided more
info (that I can understand & use) than any other website I have checked.
Again, Thanks very much!
