I used to connect to the Comcast mail server while traveling and using
another ISP. Now after installing Office SP1 I get the following message:
Task 'mail.comcast.net - Receiving' reported error (0x80042108) : 'Outlook
is unable to connect to your incoming (POP3) e-mail server. If you continue
to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet
service provider (ISP).'
I turned McAfee viruscan and firewall but I get the same error. Comcast
tech support says this error code is generated after users install Office
SP1. What is the fix?
