Outlook 2003 will not fully close. outlook.exe still in taskbar.

Hopefully some of you have seen this too. I have a user who just upgraded
from OFF 2002 to 2003. When he closes outlook it looks like it closed but
when he tries to reopen it doesnt do anything. We open taskmanager and see
two instanaces or as many instances as we tried to open outlook.

Now, if we kill all but one process BAMM!! Outlook comes up. I remeber
reading that some add-in processes will cause this issue. I have deleted a
users palm software which has corrected the issue. Updates for both the palm
and outlook have not corrected this issue to the point that I can have both
O2k3 and Palm working on the system.

Please help!

it's probably caused by the palm software but see if
