I installed Outlook Connector to be able to retrieve my Hotmail email now
that I can no longer use Outlook Express. It worked fine until one day I got
an error message and was unable to get the email.
I contacted Microsof Support ( Service Request 1113655290). Their solution
was Remove and Re-add the Hotmail Account. (Below)

1. Click on Tools -> E-mail Accounts
2. Choose to view or change existing E-mail accounts and click on Next
3. Remove the MAPI hotmail account from the list. Click on Next and finish.
2. Click on the tab “Outlook connector†-> Add an account
3. Type in the requested user credentials and click on.
4. Close and reopen outlook. It will take a few minutes for the folders to
get synchronized
I followed this and in numerous folders I have no email beyond June 1, 2009.
The email though is viewable on the Hotmail site.
When I responded to the technician with the results she replied:

Please follow the steps below which will help us to resolve the issue.
1. Close Outlook 2007.
2. Install the 'WINDOWS INSTALL CLEAN UP UTILITY' from the following
link http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301 look for and install it .
3. Click on Start >> ALL PROGRAMS >> look for windows install clean up
4. Look for Outlook Connector in the list and highlight it and remove it
5. Click EXIT
6. Click on

look for to download the latest version of Microsoft Outlook Connector.
Open the Outlook store location by copy pasting the following command:-
Click on Start -> Run -> copy and paste the command
%UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\outlook
Rename the .ost file (offline temporary storage for the particular hotmail
emails account set up)
7. Open Microsoft Outlook and set up the Connector and check if the
issue persists .
In case the above suggestions fail to resolve the issue. I suggest you
contact our phone support instead. It is more interactive than the web
support. There we can work closely and the issue will also be resolved more
efficiently.
