Outlook 2003: Wrong link color in HTML signature

Hello

I want to use a fancy HTML signature in Outlook 2003 (SP1 is installed).
The signature includes specific link colors set with the link attribute of
the body tag. If I preview the HTML file containing the signature in IE
everything looks exactly as I want to see it. Also when I select said HTML
file as a signature template in Outlook everything looks fine. But as soon
as I create a new mail message I see the problem: The link colors of my
signature are colored in the system's standard colors then.

Does anybody know how to workaround the problem?
