Either delete your email account in Outlook Express or stop checking for
mail in Outlook Express.
2. The profile keeps changing when rebooted and requires the password
because it is adding the pop 3 address to the user name.
This is being caused by your anti-spam or anti-virus software, not Outlook
or Outlook Express.

Thanks for your reply and I deleted the anti-spam and removed the anti-virus.
Then I removed the Account and re-entered the account and then re-loaded the
anti-virus...but the E-Mail in keeps changing to localhost for incoming mail
and changing the user name by adding a / and adding the e-mail incoming
address

This causes the outgoing mail to request a corrected user name to remove the
incoming address info that it added. Next time the computer is turned on the
change is gone back tothe above problem?????

How can I stop this change

The you didn't remove the A/V program completely. That's what's making the
change.

Disable the virus checking for incoming and outgoing mail in your anti-virus
program. It is not necessary, as your anti-virus program will still catch
anything that it should in your mail. Then, reset your server names and they
should not change back to localhost.

You mean you deleted the ACCOUNT(S) in Outlook Express, correct? If you
removed Outlook Express totally, Outlook will not function properly.
Outlook Express must be installed on the same machine as Outlook.

I have a problem with protecting my e-mail. When I opened Outlook, it always
asked for my password, but now it does not. I went to "Go", selected
"Personal Folders", right clicked to get to "Personal Folders Properties",
and tried to get to the advanced button, but an error message keeps coming
up. This message reads "The operation failed. An object could not be
found". What did I do wrong?
