Outlook 2003

Have a Dell 2400 Dimension Tower with XP platform, McAfee, Spybot, AdAware
loaded. For the last two months Outlook opens very slowly and then shows a
"not responding" notice in the title bar. Messages from internet provider
are slow to download and Outlook seems to freeze when I try to open the
messages or read them in the preview window. Does this sound like I have
some sort of Trojan or virus that Mcafee and the other security software I
have installed may have missed? I have defragged, cleaned and re-booted with
no change in the way Outlook is acting. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Disable McAfee and your firewall temporarily and see if that changes
anything.
