Outlook 2003

I WANT to be able to send and receive the ocassional
attachment with my emails. I feel I know what I am doing
(??) and have plenty of virus support. How do I change
the settings so that I can send or receive??
Also, I would like to be able to send a web page to
friends on ocassion, but I.E. breaks it up into
unreadable chunks. How can I change that to be able to
send a whole, intact page by email??

Why can't you send & receive attachments now? Unless you have a server
admin in charge of your desktop software's capabilities, attachments
shouldn't be blocked. I'm a bit unclear on whether you don't know how to
send attachments or you've tried & failed. Have you tried Outlook Help and
typing Attachments? Your friends likely have html turned off and therefore
can't see the page as a whole. You'll find that Outlook does this too. If
you check your options, security, Outlook 2003 is set at "Restricted" but
can be changed to "Internet." If you get subscription emails from online
stores or sites with html then you'll want to change that setting.
Personally, and take this for what its worth, I find it rude to send entire
web pages via email. A link is much better IMO.

Thanks, Tara. I have changed the internet setting and made sure HTML is accepted. I agree about sending whole pages, but unyil now I couldn't even send a URL. Perhaps this will change now as well. Thanks again! Gary
