Outlook 2003

Hello help is needed,
I am trying to redirect mail from my POP/SMTP servers to Hotmail without
opening Outlook 2003.
EG Mail sent to my account via POP/SMTP in Outlook 2003 appearing in Hotmail
Live without opening.
I have tried the following and been successful:
I can redirect mail via rules but only after opening Outlook 2003. I dont
have the rule REDIRECT in the list.
I can via Outlook connector see my Hotmail in Outlook 2003. But that is the
opposite to what I need.
I have signed up for Windows Live Plus which allows me the same as connector.

What I need to do is open Hotmail and see mail sent to my account POP/SMTP
in Outlook 2003

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't believe that Outlook can do anything if it isn't open and it
won't forward anything until it polls for emails.

You would need to redirect/forward pop mail to your hotmail account at your
pop mail/ISP end, if they support such.
Otherwise Outlook would need to be open for any rules to run
Outlook is an email client it is not a mail account/isp

Outlook does not run rules on non-outlook pop3 or exchange accounts.

Thanks guys. That then begs the question can I have Windows Live ID become my
account instead of outlook.
