Ever since we have Outlook 2007 installed in our office,
when you do a search in the addressbook, for someones last name
it also brings up everything that contains a part for the First name.
Is there a way to disable that ??

ie.

I want to do a search for Janssens
Then I type: jan

so with 2003 it brought everything up all the last names that started with that.
Now with 2007

It brings up everything where "jan" is either firstname or lastname

turner, janice
Janssens, Harry.

I don't want to see the "Turner" one

Address Book search problem

If you are experiencing Outlook Address Book search problem then it is clear that your PST files have been oversized and you need to split them to resolve the issue.

That make no sense what so ever.
it's on a Network from the company.
it's a dumb feature in Outlook 2007 / Exchange server that searches for both fields.
There is no way to turn that off.

Maybe you should do some research.
